The Forest Ghost Wins!

Hi folks,

Last week, I learned my latest novel, The Forest Ghost, and my previous novel, The Master of Hounds, took first and second place respectively in the NY State Outdoor Writers Association Annual Awards (Book Category). Below is the official press release, honoring all my fellow outdoor writers and photographers.

Thanks to all who have supported my writing career--family, friends, and readers. There is nothing easier than not writing a book, and it's that little bit of encouragement in the darkest hours that keeps a writer moving forward.

As for me, I will strive to be better.
