Someday

This is the original, unedited photo. Maybe it was the heavy fog last night--or the haste to get the picture, as the moon only peaked from behind the clouds for less than a minute--that resulted in an impressionistic look. Either way, hard sayin'. But then again, it is Painted Post, after all.

There will come a someday
—upon climbing this mountain--
when one more time
will be one last time
—becoming a ghost amongst the hemlocks.
But in the meantime,
what a strangely wonderful moon out tonight.
