Publication Update:

Hi Folks,

    It’s been a while since I’ve posted a publication update, so I thought it was time to drop a note about happenings.

An Exceptional Hound (AEH): Book II of the Ryland Creek Saga—The Audiobook. Following last year’s publishing of audiobook version of The Last Coon Hunter: Book I of the Ryland Creek Saga, 5th Anniversary Edition, AEH will follow suit. The plan is to once again hire the incredible voice talent of Wayne Thompson (via ACX). The “notes version” (i.e., where I give clues and hints for emphasis to the voice actor) has begun, and production is slated to begin in the July-Aug 2023 time frame.

On Seventy Acres. This work is still in the early conceptual stages and likely won’t be published until 2024. This book will contain both a history, pictures, and lyric essays of this special place called Painted Post.

The road ahead: Will there be another novel for the Ryland Creek saga—2024 or beyond? Hard sayin’ at thus point, but I’ve also learned never to say never.
