Of Bears and Old Writers

.In switching the game camera from photo to video mode about a month ago, the long-awaited cameo of one of forest's most daunting critters . . . . Although, perhaps not this little one in particular, and this is certainly not the brute who's made several appearances close by of late.  That said, respect all bears.

It seems more than just this old writer noticed the huckleberries were beginning to ripen . . .

And a Quick Publication Update

The audio book production of An Exceptional Hound: Book II of the Ryland Creek Saga is on track--being ~two-thirds complete into the first draft.

I must add (again) how amazed I am at the phenomenal talent of Wayne Thompson--the same voice actor who narrated the first audio book in the Ryland Creek Saga, The Last Coon Hunter, Fifth Anniversary Edition--now available on Audible.
