Hi Folks,
I was informed this afternoon that The Last Coon Hunter: Book I of the Ryland Creek Saga, Fifth Anniversary Edition, and The Time of the Backroads: A Ryland Creek Novel, took Second and Third Place, respectively, in the New York State Outdoor Writers Associations (NYSOWA) 2023 Excellence in Craft Awards (Book category).

I'm humbled and honored that these stories--set in a special place called Painted Post, and about following your heart and your hounds into the forest dark--made the grade.

Thanks to my fellow NYSOWA writers who made these awards and an amazing organization possible.

And to my readers who made the world of Ryland Creek into something more.
