Short Pub Update and More

Hi Folks,

Much has happened over the past two months to include welcoming home (permanently) another of Seth’s sons, Ben. Between building more kennels and coops (for ourselves as well as another family in Pennsylvania), let’s just say I’ve been burning the candle at both ends. (I know. What else is new?)

But I do have a quick publication update and more as part of all that candle burning.

Dust Jackets on Barnes and Noble (B&N)

Except for The Time of the Backroads, the Ryland Creek saga, Books I (5th anniversary edition) through Book V, plus the prequel, The Forest Ghost, are now in dust jacket on B&N.

• This format is priced on B&N considerably less (at $24.99 each) than other major book retailers for the same format because I'm self-published directly through B&N now.
• Hope to have Backroads in dust jacket available on B&N toward the end of Jul 26.

A Place Called Painted Post: A Ryland Creek Story

Shanne and I are actively on our near-final review of this latest edition to the Ryland Creek saga. Our due date to our fabulous editor, Joyce Mochrie, is now July 20th, which will be here before you know it!

On Sale this Weekend Only (June 20-21)

Both The Ryland Creek Saga, Book I-V, and The Ryland Creek Saga: Expanded Collection (Books I-V plus  The Forest Ghost and The Time of the Backroads) will be on sale exclusively on Amazon in e-book format at ~50% off.

Annual Author Sale

My author anniversary sale this year will be from June 26-30, 2026, for print books via my author website. I’ll also lower prices for print books on Amazon and B&N and e-books (exclusively on Amazon) during this sale, too.

Note: I have no direct control (i.e., can only suggest the price) for my audiobooks on Audible (The Last Coon Hunter and An Exceptional Hound), although I still have some free promo codes that I’ll offer during the anniversary sale.

Hoping this quick note finds you and yours well.

Very Respectfully,

Joseph Gary Crance
