Hi Folks,

Just wanted to pass on that yesterday I finished my fourth revision (i.e., my "listen-thru") for Return to Ryland Creek: Book V of the Ryland Creek Saga. I'm very pleased with this story and pray my readers will be, too.

There's still more work to do before this draft ms heads to Joyce Mochrie, world's best copy editor, on October 1st for her review. As it stands, the story is in good shape to move ahead and be ready for final publishing in the November 2025 time frame.

In the forest: For the first time in nearly five seasons in our neck of the woods, we're finally having an appreciable amount of acorn. And it looks like a bumper crop! I can't recall the Chestnut (aka Rock) oaks producing so many acorns. I thank God as a healthy mast crop is beneficial to so many critters--not just squirrel and deer but raccoon as well.

In other woodsy news from the Critter Cam:  A pair of raccoon who were apparently out partying all night.  And a critter, a mink, that I'd never caught before on video.
