The week before, I'd decided to move the game cam back to the creek where an ash sapling had toppled over the waterway from bank-to-bank and also conveniently positioned near a game trail. But sometime over the winter, that sapling had collapsed. As it happens, not more than 10 feet away, another sapling had fallen across the stream, so I positioned the camera there. But after several days with no videos captured, it was clear the wildlife wasn’t opting for that new overpass. So, I moved the camera over another 4 feet back to the game trail and changed the angle. What a difference that small change in perspective made. (Probably a life lesson. Yeah, fairly certain there's something to learn there. ) Captured for the first time in 2026, an adult (likely a male by the size of him) fisher cat—not a feline but part of the weasel family and first cousin to the wolverine. Note: At the start of the video, I think this fisher missed the “bridge out” sign, but it’s clear he recovered pretty quickly. It's the start of a new week, folks. As Dad likes to say, fly at it!

Wow he's a big one. I love the pictures of the animals when they don't know we are watching them, thanks. Flora
